Welcome to Altered Ministries!

My name is Jayne and it is so good to have you visit our page!

A year or so ago, my friend Jessica Smith and I were driving back and forth from ministering at the Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center.  (This is a women's prison in Vandalia, MO.)  We would talk about how we could see the Lord radically transforming the lives of those incarcerated there.  We wanted the women we know outside of the prison walls to experience the same life-altering freedom that our friends inside the prison were. After some discussion, we  had the wild idea to host a local women's conference in 2017 and bring in gifted speakers like Jill Savage and Beth Riley. We were so honored when we found ourselves scrambling for more parking spaces having the doors nearly bursting open with all who attended our first ever Altered Conference.  The reviews were amazing, and the Lord showed up and ministered in a mighty way to all of those who attended.

To that end, in December of 2017, I launched the formal "Altered Ministries" and this is the site you are now on.  While our site is work in progress, I hope you'll find blog posts that encourage your heart, and information regarding our upcoming 2018 Altered Conference for women.

We hope you will be able to come and be transformed by the Word of God as we focus on what it is to be "Unwavering" in 2018!

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2

About Jayne: Jayne Patton holds a deep love for the global and diverse body of Christ followers. She believes in crossing over denominational lines to bring the gospel in a way that is powerful and relevant.  Her prayer is that God uses her personal presentation style to bring others to a deeper level of understanding of the scriptures. She is a fierce believer that the Holy Spirit still brings the conviction that leads to salvation and she is just cheering Him on!  She married her husband Mike in 1999 and together they have 3 children.  In 1996, Jayne graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Management. She left a lucrative sales career soon after the birth of her first child, and entered into the world of women's ministry via the local church through facilitating Bible studies, hosting events, speaking locally, and more. Before launching Altered Ministries, she previously held the position of Women's Ministry Director for her local church, and has worked with government officials regarding the plight of persecuted Christian's worldwide.  She  currently ministers weekly at the women's maximum security prison in Vandalia, Mo. through the Beauty for Ashes Program believing God can change anyone's life when they surrender to Him.  Jayne is a popular speaker at events, conferences, banquets, MOPS, MOMSnext groups, and churches through her inspirational and motivational speaking.  Jayne loves to read in her spare time, can always be bribed with Mexican food, and never....EVER...turns down a double-stuffed Oreo. Ever.

What people are saying:

Jayne’s stage presence and speaking style will captivate you in a way that time seems to stand still as she’s pouring out the Word of God out over you. You could listen for hours, and you’ll leave craving more of the hope and spiritual wisdom she brings to every presentation. To see evidence of her passion for knowing and following Jesus Christ, you need not look far to see that her commitment to faithfully studying and applying God’s Word has given her an understanding of Scripture that is hard to find in today’s world. Her submission to the Lordship of Christ in her life has filled her with the Spirit so that every interaction you have with her lends evidence to who God is. Quite simply, your only regret will not be in booking Jayne sooner.

My first meeting Jayne brought an overwhelming sense of excitement for our upcoming Women At The Well event. I was struck by her love for Jesus as it permeated through every part of our conversation. Jayne spoke at our event with humor, conviction and most importantly-TRUTH! Jayne understand the trials and sufferings that women face today and helps women apply God’s Word in their lives. All in attendance were captivated by her content and delivery and we have received nothing but positive feedback.
